Radio 2 - Racketlon Chat 9th December 2011

Following the great success at the World Championships 2 weeks ago in Vienna and to mark the launch of the 2012 UK Tour, newly elected English Racketlon Association Recognition officer Julian Kashdan-Brown was interviewed on Friday night on Radio 2 to talk about racketlon at 645pm....to listen to the replay access BBC iPlayer and Simon Mayo's Drivetime Show.

Julian gave a great account for the sport, talking about his son Josh as an example of someone with table tennis and tennis background, ok badminton but no squash experience. Julian said what he really likes about racketlon was the respect it generates as an opponent will most likely lose at least one sport so thus having both winning and losing experiences during a racketlon match making the competition more humble and sociable. This is in comparison with other sports where victory can often be by bigger margins and there is only "one winner".

Hopefully the sport will receive more interest following this radio coverage. Well done to Julian.
