Categorisation for Mens A and Ladies A is based on FIR ranking (primarily as this is an international event), ERA Ranking, whether you are new to racketlon or not, Class B wins, Class A wins / losses and impressive results against highly ranked players. Organiser discretion will only be used if needed. Players can express their entry preference when entering their category on www.resultreporter.com. Note that even if Class A reaches 16 players before the entry deadline (which it is likely to do so), players are still encouraged to enter the tournament and the organisation will then determine the most appropriate category for players by re-jigging the ResultReporter list. This is standard practice for all racketlon tournaments. Players are not guaranteed to play in their preferred category as per above. Scenario A is if a player who does not warrant Class A inclusion for this particular event, but enters Class A will most likely be moved down to Class B. Class B is still a strong category for this event and we expect Class A to largely consist of established Class A ranked players (likely to be the top 14 world ranked players plus 2 wildcards).

All standards are welcome. This competition is part of the British tour and points for rankings will be allocated as a national championship. World Ranking points are also available as a challenger event. All standards are welcome. Note that all players are required to pay the international racketlon federation license fee of 10 Euros. this can be paid when registering on the www.resultreporter.com website. This is an annual fee (2011 calendar year) and some players have already paid it (EG if you played in the English Open or another World Tour Tournament). Sunday 6th November - This will be a One day Event Entry closes on Sunday October 29th - some categories may close earlier if full. Players can only enter one category. We regret that we will not be able to refund any entry fee on a cancellation less than 1 week away from the competition day. It is likely singles events will have 3 scheduled matches to 21, pls bear this in mind. Finalists may have a 4th round to 21. The organisers are happy to help you choose the most appropriate category and hold the final say on player and category split. This is your username and password for all ResultReporter events. Step 2: On www.resultreporter.com pay the International Racketlon License on this website via paypal. This covers international competition in 2011 and costs 10 Euros. This is a one off charge for all world ranking events in 2011. Again, if you have already done this, miss this step. Step 3: On http://www.resultreporter.com/node/124226 enter the British Open in the desired category. Step 4: Pay for your entry on and guarantee your place in the draw. Choose from the below options. I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in the time periods advertised and any pullout with due notice will be considered for a partial refund accounting for an administration charge.
