Wed 01-Feb-2012 - The £5 earlybird entry discount for singles entries prior to 31-Jan has now been removed. All entry fees are now at standard rates. The next pricepoint will be the entry deadline of midnight Mon 12-Mar-2012, after which a late entry surcharge of £5 per entry will be applied to all categories still open.

Tournament Info

This competition is part of the British tour and points for rankings will be allocated as a national championship. This is the 6th! English Racketlon Championships.

The event is being organised by the English Racketlon Association. All standards are welcome.

The entry deadline is March 12th.

 * Due to a flurry of Mens A entries, the entry limit has been increased. Various scenarios are under discussion within the organisation committee.

* U16's Moved from Sunday to Saturday

Categories are singles events unless labelled as doubles. The capacity above in brackets is a guide and subject to change at the organisers discretion of what is best for the tournament overall. Enter early to avoid missing out. The Welsh Open is very over subscribed.

Entry Steps

Step 1: Register on www.englishracketlon.org as a user (if you are already registered miss this step). This is your username and password for all englishracketlon.org events. Your registration is confirmed via an email link.

Step 2: Click on the tournament entry page and create a player profile. Again, this is a one off exercise. If already completed, skip this step.

Step 3: Click on the event (s) you wish to enter. Once finalised, pay via paypal by clicking onwards. Note there are restrictions on certain event combinations. It is not possible to play more than one banded event, EG Mens A and Mens B. It is only possible to play one event per day. The exception here is Ladies Doubles which can be (and is encouraged) to be played alongside the Ladies singles.

Participant Waiver - Note, each participant is providing an electronic signature to this waiver upon registration.

I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.

I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road.

I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organizers, sponsors, promoters, englishracketlon.org and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

I understand that any attendance and participation in this event by a junior player (under 16) must be supervised at all times by a parent/guardian, and that parent/guardian is aware of this requirement and is deemed to be the person paying the entry fee unless specific prior notification has been given to and agreed with the event organiser, of a different responsible parent/guardian attending.

I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.

I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in the time periods advertised and any pullout with due notice will be considered for a partial refund accounting for an administration charge. I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event.
