UPDATE 23 JUNE 2011 - all categories are now closed for online entry.  Please note there are still a few gaps in the draws.  To enable us to manage the overall shape of each category any further entries need to be made via a phonecall to Dan Woodley. The latest thinking for the mens due to the nature of entries received is to run  a class A, 2 class B categories and a class C with 8 people in each category.

UPDATE 22 June 2011 - mens category A and B are now closed.  If however you are interested in entering either of these categories please contact Dan Woodley by phone on the number below.  With the large number of new players we do have some flexibility and we may be able to squeeze you in or potentially increase the draw if there is sufficient demand.

This one day event is part of the British tour and ranking points will be allocated as a local tournament - factor 0.5.

The racketlon tour returns to Eastbourne with a new venue.  This event has been designed to attract both new local players and regular tour players.  With the support of Lawson Lewis solicitors we have been able to reduce the usual entrance fee by 50% to £12.50.  The only other difference to normal events is that we will be using plastic shuttles rather than feathers on the day. If any badminton players wish to use feather shuttles, please bring your own.

The make up of the categories will be continually monitored as we will hopefully have lots of new players who may be unsure of which category to enter.  The organising committee will provide assistance here and may ask people to move categories where we feel they may be better suited to a higher or lower category.  The standard of each category does vary across events so if you are unsure please contact Dan Woodley to discuss (07885 552873).

Entry Steps

Step 1 - please register on the website as a user, this creates a username and password that can be used for all future events.  Your registration is confirmed via an e-mail link.

Step 2 - Click on the tournament entry page and create a player profile.

Step 3 - Click on the event and then category you wish to enter. Once finalised please process payment via paypal.  If you wish to pay by cheque or BACS please contact Dan Woodley (01323 722384).

Timings: Play will commence at midday and end by 6pm.  It is envisaged that every player will receive 3 games up to 21 (in all 4 sports).  we cannot guarantee this as it is subject to number of entries and any withdrawals on the day.  However where possible we will look to match up any affected players to provide them with 3 games. We reget that we will not be able to refund any entry fee on a cancellation within one week of the event.

Facilities: 3 x table tennis, 2/3 badminton, 2 squash and 3 outdoor tennis courts
